| Ok, normally I don't get into this type of thing in forum areas, but I've got to get this out or I'm going to explode inside. I'm sure you've all heard by now the story of how a mother and step father to a little 3 year old girl are now in jail accused of her murder. The latest is that she died of internal bleeding in the abdomen due to blunt trauma.
A visitor to the house had seen her laying "Face up and motionless" and called cops to investigate. They showed them an older daughter and denied having a younger girl - that the one presented was the only one they had. Police then found the body in the truck of their car - stuffed into a blue plastic tote.
The grandfather had been trying to get custody of this little girl, but had been having no luck; he was afraid something like this would happen. I know that, because he is a close friend of ours - we used to ride together in the same club. I've held that little one, played with her....she was as sweet as they come, just a little angle and she so loved her Grandpa.
I just cannot fathom for the life of me how any parent could hate their child so much as to harm them like this. To deny them. Remember Susan Smith? All she had to do was let the father take them....that's all. If they didn't want her around, why couldn't they just let him have her....she was his life. And it's affected all of us that know him and had known her.
They say everything has its purpose. I don't know. But hug your kids tonight ...maybe say a prayer for Jacqueline. |
