Sadly, we must report that CBS Interactive organization is being restructured, and the production team that brings you the STARTREK.COM site has been eliminated. Effective immediately.
We don't know the ultimate fate of this site, which has served millions of Star Trek fans for the last thirteen years.

It would seem another letter/email writing campaign is in order. Remember, don't be mean, condesending or use profanity; DO recount how many years you've been a fan, that you visit the site regularly (even every other week IS regular) and that as a paying consumer and loyal Trek fan, that they find some alternative to simply shutting down the site and reasigning or letting go the team that was there for us all for so many years. It's not fair nor is it right. Maybe Paramount or Viacom will take it.
If this stays as so, there'll be no more CBS button on my TV & I'll be reviewing all the syndicated shows I watch, and will remove from my list ANY show that started at CBS.....if it airs, they get a royalty payment somewhere down the line. This is where consumers can make a difference.
PLEASE repost this everywhere......the more complaints they get, the better our chances of success! |
