Is the Governing Body of the Brigade is the Company Commander's Assembly (CCA). In order to ensure that decisions affecting each Company/Unit of the Brigade are reached in a democratic way, matters concerning more than one Company/Unit are put before the CCA for approval. Procedures to implement these policies will be the purview of the 3rd Brigade staff. The Chairman of the CCA is the Brigade Commander (CO3BDE) In the absence of the Brigade Commander the Brigade Executive officer (XO3BDE) shall act as the chairman. In the event of both absences the Adjutant (S-1) shall act as chairman, or choose an officer to act in that position as pro-term chairman. Matters may be brought to the CCA by any member of the CCA, or Brigade staff.

The CCA is made up of the OIC of each Marine Unit in the Brigade. I desire to get this group active again and would like to schedule a Internet chat on the forum or another outlet, or we can have a phone teleconference. I am looking at next Wed. August 20th, 2008 at 8:00pm. If the OIC cannot attend please have the DOIC present. I will do a open polling on the 3rd Brigade Forum for us to determine the method.
